Swaps are either debited or credited to your account equity at the end of each trading day.

Rates vary depending on the instrument—whether you are trading FX pairs, Metals, cryptocurrencies or Indices.

How Swap Rates Work?

The idea is straightforward once broken into a few practical points.

Interest Differentials

Values are calculated based on the difference between the interest rates of the two currencies involved.

Long vs. Short

Depending on your trade direction, you may pay a fee or earn interest (positive swap) on your position.

Triple Swap Wednesdays

To account for the weekend settlement period when markets are closed, a triple rate is applied every Wednesday and Friday.
